Moe’s Group is a private label and contract manufacturer of bodycare products, formulating and producing body butters, balms, lotions, washes and deodorants for beauty brands. We handle formulation, filling, packaging and compliance so your brand ships a finished product, not a project.
Bodycare formats we manufacture
- Whipped body butters — including our beef tallow body butter, a category we specialise in.
- Body balms and salves — anhydrous, high-occlusion formats for dry and compromised skin.
- Body lotions and creams — emulsions across light lotion to rich cream viscosities.
- Body washes and cleansers — surfactant systems including sulphate-free and syndet bases.
- Natural deodorants — baking-soda and non-baking-soda systems, stick and cream formats.
- Body oils and serums — single-phase and dry-touch oil blends.
Why brands choose tallow-based bodycare
Beef tallow closely matches the lipid profile of human skin, which makes it well suited to body formats where occlusion and barrier support matter more than fast absorption. We have built a dedicated tallow manufacturing capability around it — see our whipped tallow body butter manufacturing and tallow skincare manufacturing pages for how those formulations are produced.
Active ingredients for body applications
Body formats can carry the same actives as facial skincare, at concentrations suited to larger application areas. We formulate with copper peptides, PDRN, exosomes and other advanced actives — see our ingredients for the full list, or copper peptide skincare manufacturing for that specific capability.
Formulation and development
Every bodycare project starts with formulation. Bring an existing formula for us to scale, a competitor benchmark to match, or a concept to develop from scratch. Our chemists handle stability, preservative efficacy and compatibility testing before production.
Compliance and manufacturing standards
Bodycare products are regulated cosmetics and, in some claim territories, OTC drugs. We manufacture to recognised standards — see ISO 22716 vs cGMP vs FDA registration for what each certification actually covers, and our certifications for what we hold.
Packaging
Jars, tubes, pumps, bottles, sticks and airless formats, with decoration and secondary packaging. See cosmetic packaging.
Start a bodycare project
Tell us the format, the intended market and any actives you need to include, and we will come back with a formulation route and an indicative cost. Book a free consultation or submit a product inquiry.
Other categories we manufacture
We also run dedicated skincare and haircare manufacturing lines. Many brands launch across more than one category, and we can formulate a consistent range across all three.
Bodycare formulation considerations
Body formats cover more skin than facial products, so cost per unit of active matters more and texture matters differently. A body lotion has to spread across a large area without dragging; a balm has to stay put. We formulate for application area and use occasion, not just for an ingredient list.
Minimum order quantities and scaling
We run pilot batches through to high-volume production. For a first bodycare launch we will recommend a batch size matched to what you can realistically sell in a quarter, rather than the largest run the equipment allows.
Development timelines
Adapting an existing brief moves faster than developing from scratch with full stability and preservative efficacy testing. We will be explicit at quoting stage about which route your brief needs and what that means for your launch date.
Packaging fit
Body formats are unusually sensitive to packaging choice: a thick butter needs a wide-mouth jar, a lotion needs a pump that will not clog, and a stick deodorant needs a barrel matched to its hardness. Formula and pack are chosen together — see cosmetic packaging.
